Data Scientist

## About the role - Collect, extract, integrate, and analyze large volumes of data from a variety of sources - Apply modern ML/AI techniques to predict outcomes of sports events, with an emphasis on in-game, real-time modelling - Initial focus on NFL, NBA, and MLB, with the potential to expand across traditional and esports. - Work with engineering and design teams to integrate models into InPlay Innovation's products ## Skills/Experience - Degree in a quantitative field (Advanced Degree in Math or Statistics is ideal but not required) - 2+ years of relevant professional experience (Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, Quantitative Analyst, or similar) - Strong programming skills in a scientific computing language such as Python - Experience using frameworks for machine learning and data science like scikit-learn, pandas, numpy, pytorch, tensorflow/keras - Understanding of statistical methods and contemporary ML algorithms - Interest in and experience with sports and/or gaming - Strong collaborator - Excellent oral and written communicator - Comfortable in early-stage, fast-paced, high-growth environments ## What we offer - Commensurate with experience - Potential for equity upside for the right candidate
