Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive understanding of process systems and integration; Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to build facility surveillance plans; Perform real-time process surveillance monitoring, optimization, remote troubleshooting, and reporting; Assess, categorize, and allocate downtime and perform facility mass balance; Troubleshoot & optimize equipment/processes including heat exchangers, separators, pump/compression units, fractionation units, acid gas treatment units, water treatment units, refrigeration and gas liquefaction units, process safety systems, and process control systems; Perform root cause analysis investigations for equipment failures or process upsets; Accountable to deliver engineering packages to site for procurement and construction by working closely with Contractor, Business Unit, and other engineering disciplines; Support Management of Change for facilities modifications including development of scope and completion of engineering deliverables for both routine maintenance and turnaround scopes; Identify and progress capacity enhancement, reliability improvement, and cost reduction initiatives to improve unit profitability; Develop and modify process simulation models using standard process modeling software (i.e., Aspen HYSYS, HTRI, etc.)
