Develop pluggable optical/electrical transceiver and cable assembly specifications and requirements based on industry standards and MSAs. Engage with optical transceiver suppliers on HPE's specifications and requirements for optical product definition. Create optical transceiver test plans to address verification requirements. Build test stations using optical and electrical test equipment. Create test automation to execute testing and store results. Conduct performance characterization and qualification testing. Develop software to process data, distill results and generate test reports. Support HPE Customer Service teams with pluggable optics failure root cause analysis. Support external optics certification and interoperability with 3rd party networking equipment.
