Responsibilities
Create custom internal scripts for automating tasks, analyzing data, and integrating APIs; Deploy, manage, and harden servers based on Linux, Windows, and VMware ESXi technologies; Deploy, configure, and maintain network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN gateways); Prepare comprehensive vulnerability assessment reports, remediation plans, dashboards, metric reports, and operational procedures; Manage vulnerability management lifecycle processes across on-premises and cloud environments; Coordinate and review remediation efforts across multiple teams; Report on task progress, identified vulnerabilities, high-risk assets, risk exposure, actively exploited threats, ticket trends, KPIs, and other relevant security metrics; Interact with IT infrastructure teams, development teams, cloud operations teams, the Security Operations Center (SOC), compliance officers, and external vendors; Write documentation to communicate solutions to engineers and users; Solve problems related to mission-critical services with a focus on using automation to prevent recurrence
