As customers progress through their DevRev journey, they may require complex integrations with enterprise systems, workflow automation, or custom enhancements to the platform. As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of high-impact AI-driven solutions, integrations, and automations. You will collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to ensure seamless, robust, and scalable solutions, while mentoring junior engineers and influencing technical strategy. ## What you'll do - Lead the design, development, and implementation of integrations, automations, and customizations across DevRev and customers' workflows. - Utilize advanced AI techniques, including Generative AI, prompt engineering, and semantic search fine-tuning to solve complex customer problems. - Conduct sophisticated data analysis, write advanced SQL queries, and create dashboards to drive strategic decisions. - Proactively manage communication and feedback loops with all stakeholders, including customers, engineering, product, and customer success teams. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and technical excellence. - Explore and adopt new technologies to continuously improve platform capabilities and customer solutions. ## What you'll bring - Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent professional experience. - Extensive hands-on coding experience in TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, APIs, Webhooks, and SQL. - Strong experience with Generative AI, LLMs, vector databases, and data embeddings. - Proven ability to design scalable, maintainable, and customer-focused solutions. - Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. - Result-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-paced, global environment. - Passion for solving challenging problems and driving high-impact solutions. ## Nice to Have - Experience with Golang, NodeJS, or other backend technologies. - Prior experience in customer-facing solution engineering or consulting. ## About us DevRev is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, national origin, disability, age, genetic information, veteran status, marital status, pregnancy or related condition, or any other basis protected by law.
