Responsibilities
Drive strategy for the network platform and review current MPLS platform, architecture, and risk register; Review and analyze existing network roadmap to design, architect, and implement the next generation network; Lead a network automation transformation to improve efficiency and reduce risk; Conduct capacity planning for organic and exceptional growth; Participate in pre-sales activities and win strategies; Ensure proposed client solutions are feasible and aligned with core network platforms; Participate in CAB to assess change requests impacting the core network; Maintain the Risk Register for the core network; Develop core network platform metrics and reports for executives; Maintain architectural blueprints; Assess impact of enterprise-level initiatives on Service Provider platforms; Act as a trusted adviser on technology vendor and solution decisions; Develop TCO models; Respond to major incidents; Provide technical mentoring and leadership.
