Application Support (Python)

## About the Company CFI Financial Group is an award-winning trading provider, possessing more than 25 years of experience with multiple offices around the world including London, Larnaca, Beirut, Amman, Dubai, Port Louis, and others. ## About the Role We are hiring a talented Back-end App Support (Python) professional to join our team. ## Responsibilities - Provide support for backend systems, ensuring high availability, stability, and timely issue resolution. - Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve backend issues in collaboration with development and infrastructure teams. - Collaborate with team members and stakeholders in developing features and new products. - Develop solutions according to specified business requirements. - Define and write technical specifications, including the appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards. - Demonstrate and present implementations to team leaders, heads, and the CTO. - Implement Unit and Integration Tests. - Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, and extensibility. - Participate in code reviews, identifying anti‐patterns and refactoring opportunities. - Perform other duties as deemed necessary by their superior from time to time. ## Requirements ### Must-Have - BSc in Computer Science or related field. - Strong knowledge of Python for backend troubleshooting and support. - Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. - Solid understanding of software and application architecture, especially microservices and service-oriented architecture (SOA). - Experience with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD processes. - Understanding of web security standards and best practices. ### Good-to-Have - Knowledge of PHP. - Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar messaging systems. - Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm). - Experience implementing Unit and Integration Tests. - A technical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. ## What We Offer - We're a fast-growing, multinational company. - Competitive salaries and benefits. - Work and learn with industry professionals. - Supportive and collaborative environment. - Unlimited opportunities for growth and development.
