## About the role The Financial Analyst will have responsibilities for the MEA Regional Reporting monthly processes, statutory audit for Cyprus entities, BS Flux Analysis, process improvements. ## Key Areas Of Responsibilities - The development of strong relationships with stakeholders and business partners especially Tax and Treasury. - Work with the external auditors on the completion of the annual statutory audit. - Provide assistance with balance sheet fluctuation to the Global Corporate team. - Manage and provide guidance and training to country Controllers. - Maintain ledger integrity and ensure financial compliance with the worldwide Corporate Financial Accounting Policies (CFAPs) and Corporate Management Policies (CMPs). - Help develop, maintain and assess internal controls related to accounting and financial reporting systems aligning with US GAAP. - Manage the overall process effectively, reporting KPI's and enhancing and streamlining the effectiveness of the process. - Recommend changes in processes and/or policies that identify and utilize technologies that will provide efficiencies. - Develop, measure, report and consistently meet appropriate service level targets for all major processes. - Responsibility for Accounting SOX Compliance and controls for intercompany activity. - Review of equity/investments accounts and revaluation balances on monthly basis. - Onboarding of new entities, assisting in change of ledgers. - Assisting country controllers with correct accounting treatment of more complex transactions. ## Basic Qualifications - 2-3 years of relevant experience and Finance/Business degree. - Qualified Accountant. - Proven knowledge of accounting principles. - Knowledge of local statutory and tax reporting requirements. - Detailed knowledge and experience of SOX Compliance. - Experience of dealing with external and internal audit functions.
