## Responsibilities
- Develop/maintain secure, scalable, low latency and reliable services which handle the copy, transfer, transcode, media info validation, auto QC, storage optimization, semantic search, AI based metadata extraction/tagging, discoverability and life cycle management of an extremely large volume of media files.
- Own a unified digital asset management solution with highly configurable and customized ingest/approval/distribution workflows.
- Partner with engineering teams to build scalable solutions that handle massive amounts of global content data.
- Provide mentorship to other engineers on best practices while raising the bar for engineering excellence.
- Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
- Lead complex, high-visibility technical programs that power the world's most comprehensive studios technology organization.
- Drive architectural decisions and technical strategy for next-generation media supply chain products.
- Influence across teams to deliver holistic solutions.
- Own the operational stability of highly reliable digital asset management products.
## Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
- Deep technical expertise in large-scale distributed systems and architecture.
- Proven track record leading complex technical programs with multiple stakeholders.
- High Bar in driving operational and engineering excellence, strategic thinking and tactical execution.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence senior leadership and other engineering teams across broader organization.
- Experience scaling teams and mentoring other engineers to force multiple.
## Nice to Have
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
