Software Development Engineer, Amazon Cloud Management Foundations

## Responsibilities - Own, design, and deliver software solutions that power AWS account lifecycle management. - Build and operate large-scale distributed systems with high availability and low latency requirements. - Drive technical decisions and contribute to the architecture of the account management control plane. - Execute against project plans and delivery commitments with a bias for action. - Develop relationships with internal partner teams across security, infrastructure, and AWS to deliver integrated solutions. - Contribute to operational excellence by improving monitoring, alarming, and runbooks for production systems. - Participate in on-call rotations and drive root cause analysis for operational events. - Mentor junior engineers and help raise the technical bar across the team. ## Requirements - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language ## Nice to Have - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent ## Benefits - Base salary range: 143,700.00 - 194,400.00 USD annually - Sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs) - Comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave - Equal opportunity employer with inclusive culture - Opportunities to work on foundational technology for Amazon's cloud operations - Exposure to AWS services, distributed systems at scale, and security-critical infrastructure
