## Responsibilities * Help develop technical roadmap, strategy, customer experience and roadmap for FireTV product initiatives * Facilitate the technical architecture between multiple complex systems. * Create buy-in for the technical vision and strategy both internally and with key external partners * Proactively identify and resolve technical risks and issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic or technical goals. * Collaborate with cross-functional team to deliver the best product for our customers * Experience leading a high performance team and a track record of mentoring * Communicate clearly to leadership the risks, successes, and roadblocks as part of your product execution ## Requirements - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent ## Nice to Have - Experience with Java, TypeScript - Experience of SOA - Experience working with databases - Handling scale - Excellent communication skills - Strong grasp of architecture and advanced engineering principles and design patterns - Fast, efficient coder and make coding and design decision with multiple simultaneous dimensions in mind ## Benefits Joining our team will give you endless opportunities to use your passion, ingenuity, experience, and pragmatism to build a world-class experience for FireTV customers.
