Sr. Streaming Specialist Solutions Architect, WWSO Data & AI GTM

## Responsibilities - Provide deep technical expertise for customer engagements involving AWS streaming and analytics services, including Amazon MSK and Amazon Kinesis. Design and deploy scalable, high-performance analytics solutions. - Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap. - Provide advanced technical knowledge to your domain aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges. - Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc. - Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best in class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives. - Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide. - Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population to help them understand how to integrate new AWS solutions into customer architectures. ## Requirements - 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience - 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience - 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience ## Nice to Have - Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud - Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS - Experience with presentations and speaking with executives, IT, management, and developers - Hands-on experience designing streaming analytics architectures using Kinesis, Kafka, Flink, or similar for real-time dashboards, alerting, and event-driven data pipelines ## Benefits - Work with AWS customers to design cloud-based analytics solutions using Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (Amazon MSK), Amazon Kinesis Data Streams, Amazon Data Firehose, Amazon Managed Service for Apache Flink, and the broader analytics ecosystem—including Amazon Redshift, Spark Streaming on Amazon EMR, Data Lake architecture, Iceberg tables, S3 tables, Athena, and SageMaker Lakehouse. - Help customers build the data foundation required to maximize the value of their AI projects and investments. - Shape and execute a strategy to build mind share and drive broad adoption of AWS across organizations ranging from startups to large enterprise customers. - Link technology with measurable business value.
