Senior Solutions Architect, EdTech, Canada Public Sector

## Responsibilities - Owning technical engagements at all levels - Removing technical account management barriers - Defining implementation and transition architectures - Helping customers achieve project and overall technical success - Assisting strategic solution providers with AWS-oriented definitions and implementations - Developing and delivering presentations, discussions, product demos, sample solutions, blog posts, and white papers - Working closely with account managers and business developers to ensure customer success in building and migrating applications, software and services on the AWS cloud - Supporting and promoting AWS consulting and technology partners - Gaining industry recognition and credibility as a regular attendee, panelist and keynote speaker at AWS and third-party technology conferences, trade shows and press events - Capturing and sharing knowledge with the broader AWS Solutions Architecture community ## Requirements - 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience - 8+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience - Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals ## Nice to Have - Knowledge of cloud architecture - 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience - Experience working with end user or developer communities - Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems, or experience in developing and deploying LLMs in production on GPUs, Neuron, TPU or other AI acceleration hardware ## Benefits - Comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life & AD&D insurance), Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and other resources to improve health and well-being - Base salary range: 146,000.00 - 211,600.00 CAD annually - Potential for sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs) - Inclusive culture that empowers employees to deliver the best results for customers - Opportunities to attend conferences, speak at events, and contribute to open-source projects - Support for workplace accommodations during the application and hiring process
