Senior Prototyping Architect, Prototyping and AI Customer Engineering

## Responsibilities - Play a pivotal role in building ground breaking capabilities, maintaining operational excellence through a strong Amazonian devops culture, and championing the needs of the customer. - Support AWS customers to develop prototypes specific to their articulated strategic vision for new products and services. - Work as part of an agile AI enabled development team to deliver tangible technology and business outcomes using lean principles, iterative AI/GenAI powered agile development, agentic approaches through multi-functional teams and a lightweight rapid development cycle. - Build rapid MVP experiments adapted to specific, innovation focused, use cases. - Deliver experiences that delight customers and create technology outcomes that are robust. - Create reliable, scalable, and high performance technical outcomes. - Thrive in fast paced environments where learning new concepts quickly is a must. ## Requirements - 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience. - 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience. - 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience. - Proven and demonstrable skill and expert knowledge of distributed systems design and implementation, large scale automation and workflow management, database design and implementation, API design and implementation and security. - Key language skills: Python, Javascript/Typescript. - Passionate about delivering experiences that delight customers and creating technology outcomes that are robust. - Commitment to team work, agility and strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners). - Exceptional technical expertise, a sound understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science, and practical experience building large-scale distributed systems. ## Nice to Have - 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience. - Experience working with end user or developer communities. - Experience building GenAI applications. ## Benefits - Work/Life Balance - Inclusive Team Culture - Mentorship & Career Growth - Diverse Experiences - Why AWS?
