Responsibilities
Inspect technical installations to verify conformance with specifications and applicable rules, regulations and standards. Technical installation of machinery systems and technical systems such as laundry, galleys, pantries, cabins, pools and Jacuzzis, waste systems. Ensure the assessment of the shipyard drawings are completed in good time and valid comments passed to the shipyard teams using the shipyard's drawing approval system. Attends any required Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and ensures these are carried out as per relevant requirements and standards. Works with the Class Society and the shipyard to ensure that all present and foreseen regulatory legislation has been adhered to within the build process. Coordinates and assist DCL crew who will take over the operation of the ship. Follow-up of defects and CRI and open remarks.
