Own component engineering strategy for assigned component families; Partner with Electrical Engineering to influence component selection; Lead technical evaluation and qualification of new components; Develop dual-source and multi-source strategies; Conduct proactive BOM risk reviews; Monitor supplier roadmaps and lifecycle status; Develop obsolescence and end-of-life strategies; Partner with suppliers on technical roadmaps and quality issues; Support NPI builds and production ramps; Lead component-level technical trade studies; Drive component standardization; Maintain component governance data; Partner with Quality on failure analysis; Develop and report component health metrics.
