Responsibilities
Lead civil and structural engineering delivery for the Port Inload Shed and associated infrastructure across design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover. Coordinate consultants, contractors and internal and external stakeholders to deliver approved scope, schedule, quality, compliance and budget outcomes. Review and manage technical deliverables, drawings, specifications, design reviews, RFIs, field changes, non-conformances and as-built documentation. Ensure designs and construction activities are safe, compliant, constructable and fit for purpose in a cyclonic port environment, including consideration of durability, corrosion, drainage, foundations and structural interfaces. Provide visible safety leadership, support risk reviews and confirm contractor compliance with project HSE plans, statutory obligations, Life Saving Rules and site requirements. Prepare clear engineering plans, reports, recommendations and decision papers while supporting procurement, contract administration, cost forecasting, scope control and operational handover.
