Responsibilities
Coordinate with Transmission Operations Supervisor on equipment under jurisdictional control, Review transmission switching and special switching techniques, Confirm next day transmission outages and arrange switching personnel, Coordinate company operations with adjacent entities and reliability coordinators, Schedule short term equipment outages and determine restoration procedures, Perform technical system studies including load flow analysis, Work to coordinate repairs on defective transmission equipment, Update and review Ameren procedures regarding NERC standards, Create documentation for NERC standards compliance, Review, update and create training lessons for TOS and TDs, Evaluate system alarms and events to identify and notify the TOS, Identify issues requiring expert analysis and coordinate responses to maintain system reliability
