Responsibilities
Build and maintain positive professional relationships with drivers to minimize turnover; Fill in for absent personnel and manage special projects related to optimizing fleet operations; Conduct analysis of fleet operations and profitability to make recommendations for continuous improvement; Manage inventory, assets, and assignment of drivers to balance equipment in market; Perform administrative duties such as payroll, driver counseling, accident reviews, and invoicing; Manage yard including inspecting equipment, coordinating repairs, and scheduling preventative maintenance; Assign loads and plan, route, and monitor freight movement to provide safe, on-time service; Maintain the Company's safety culture including daily driver safety messages and quarterly training.
