Support inventory accounting including journal entries and reconciliations; Manage assigned accounting areas including accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets; Prepare monthly journal entries and perform account reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP; Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close cycle; Understand underlying account balances to document and explain period-over-period fluctuations; Assist with preparation of internal and external financial reporting; Support external audits; Identify and support opportunities for process improvements; Review contracts and model accounting implications; Assist with SOX controls documentation and testing; Review P&L accounts for proper classification; Conduct annual fixed asset observation.
