Responsibilities
Interpret complex blueprints and GD&T callouts to perform machining operations; Perform complete setup, operation, adjustment, and basic programming of CNC and manual machines; Conduct initial dimensional inspections and in-process quality verifications using precision metrology instrumentation; Identify machining issues, tooling wear, or equipment failures and take corrective action; Document production metrics including output volumes, scrap rates, and downtime in ERP systems; Monitor tooling life and adjust feeds/speeds using HEM formulas; Collaborate with production leads and engineers to resolve bottlenecks; Support 5S, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives; Maintain safe work areas in compliance with OSHA standards.
