Responsibilities
Lead and develop warehouse teams through induction, training, performance management, cross-training, scheduling, and time-and-attendance management; Plan and coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, put-away, and management of drivers; Drive operational performance by communicating targets, managing resources, managing overtime, supporting OTIF delivery, and resolving service failures; Maintain safety and compliance standards through WHS support, toolbox talks, hazard and incident reporting, inspections and process adherence; Protect inventory and assets by maintaining stock accuracy, quality control, asset registers, vehicle servicing and repairs, and reporting theft or damage; Ensure effective use of systems and reporting and completion of daily routines; Promote continuous improvement and workplace standards by identifying efficiency opportunities, maintaining a clean and organised warehouse, and ensuring professional presentation of staff, vehicles, and property; Be responsible for maintaining appropriate site-security standards and protecting APG people, inventory, assets, and facilities throughout the shift and end of shift.
